Intricate Cupro Nickel Stamping

Volkert Precision Technologies, Inc. manufactured cupro nickel alloy slide plates for an aerospace industry customer. The product shown below is used in commercial and military aircraft electronic relays. We applied progressive die stamping to cupro nickel alloy for the resulting slide plates.
Our team used a 60-ton Minster press on cupro nickel alloy 715. The 0.020” thick alloy metal underwent progressive die stamping; producing slide plates 1.400” long x 1.310” wide.
