Value-Added Processes and Services
There are many finishing services which can be included to make your parts ready for just in time receiving and assembly. These include degreasing, cleaning and deburring to perfect the finished product and remove any residues from the stamping process.
Often custom metal stampings have heat treating requirements after stamping in order to meet our OEM customer specifications for the part's hardness or softness, corrosion resistance, or wear life.
Volkert can also coordinate finishing metal stampings with plating in various finishes, such as tin or nickel.
There are also some final assembly and custom packing services required by our customers. Please contact us with all our value-added and custom finishing requirements.
